Licensed Massage Therapist Carol Scott was visiting San Francisco in 1993 when she noticed a new type of massage business: companies that dispatched qualified massage therapists to people’s homes and offices for on-site treatment. Back home in Miami later that year, she launched Carol & Kim's Therapeutic Massage, introducing the “traveling massage” service to South Florida residents and visitors.
Carol has been a massage therapist herself for 20 years, and she carefully screens her therapists, keeping a careful record of client responses to maintain the highest quality of service. A variety of therapeutic treatments are offered including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology and sport massage. Therapists are also available to conduct chair massages in offices and at corporate events.
The key to Carol and Kim’s success is teaming with the most skilled massage therapists in the area, who are quickly dispatched and on-site within the hour. "The fact is that when you have a lot of therapists, they can be on location very quickly, within and hour or sooner" says Carol. There are over 50 therapists on call; all are licensed and trained in various modalities to provide the most professional and customized massage.
